Why we do what we do (WARNING: Possible Triggers)

Hi there!

We have been posting so much about Reiki, and various herbs that we didn't realize we hadn't yet explained why we are so passionate and really believe in the power of Reiki, herbs and natural modalities.

The below is a personal account of what she went through over the past 4 years. She is very passionate about others taking control of their health and stand their ground when it comes to their health and wellness.

We must warn you - the below is very real and took place with our Reiki master teacher. Some things may be detailed, trigger some people or upset some people - There is discussion of medical issues, blood, and anxiety. Continue reading this post at your own risk and feel free to reach out letting us know how we can help you with your medical struggles - This is very personal to us and we do not take any liability if you choose to read it and are triggered. ................................. Welcome back! We're glad you've decided to find out what makes us so passionate about energy modalities, diet and herbs.

We hope this personal experience will help you, or someone you know see a light at the end of the tunnel (sort of speak). While our reiki teacher was not provided with much help from the internet, we're hoping that if you're struggling with the same or similar issues, you will look into natural and holistic methods to help treat yourself and loved ones. There is a lot of trauma that she suffered which we have decided to leave out, but she is willing to discuss if someone will benefit from it. She is incredibly private so just opening up about this is a big deal for her ....We cannot stress enough that this is a personal experience and results with what she choose are not typical or promised or guaranteed.

We must be clear that treatments from professional medical personnel were sought, and you should ALWAYS seek assistance from a licensed medical professional before seeking alternative assistance. We cannot diagnose or change/issue/stop medications. This is NOT a diagnosis for anyone or saying to do this or that - Only your licensed medical professional can diagnose you. This is just a personal situation and what she personally did to help her situation. Everyone's body is different and reacts differently so it is best to speak with her before trying her methods. Much detail has been left out because it would be an incredibly long read if not...Okay, here goes!!

Our master teacher was at her day job, which we should mention she has been at for almost 20 years (Talk about a loyal, and dedicated hard worker!) - Her co-worker at the time noticed she wasn't well, and rushed her to emergency department at the local hospital. They took vitals in the emergency room, and rushed her into the back. The hospital ran blood tests, EKGs, and other tests. She swore up and down and kept telling them she felt like she had the flu. The symptoms she had were: Cold/clammy skin, vomiting when eating dairy, tired and light was hurting her eyes. Slight headache. Nothing else. Walking, talking, acting normal.

The hospital ran a slew of tests, and the doctor came in and told her she was going to die. They told her more less she should be dead and they weren't sure how she walked into the emergency department. She was rather confused because she was just at work, doing work things. So, when they decided to tell her the results of the tests, she had a hemoglobin of 28 g/L and her Ferritin was less than 1 which means, it wasn't registering in the testings!! They kept telling her how she should be dead and was dead. She was still talking and carrying on like normal. Just felt like she had the flu. In her true style, she thought they were full of it and signed herself out. When she did, she made it to the front exit and collapsed in front the Ambulance bay.

Now, for those who don't know hemoglobin is the red blood cells in your body. Ferritin is the iron stores in your blood. When there is a low level of hemoglobin, body tissues including organs, brain and skin do not get the right amount of oxygen and your heart must beat faster to maintain oxygen in the blood and body. In females, the normal level of hemoglobin should be between 120 g/L to 160 g/L (most people die when the hemoglobin hits 40, but not our master teacher). Normal levels for males is between 140 and 180 g/L. (Please note: These numbers are for the country we are in and may vary in other locations on how they display results and values)

Anyways back to the situation, Paramedics in the ambulance bay rushed in and carried her back into the back where 3 other doctors (not the same doctor as first time) took her case.

They reran blood and EKGs. An emergency blood transfusion was ordered but there was no blood locally or close by. The hospital ordered the blood and had it air lifted to the hospital as she could not be airlifted. The blood arrived a few hours later. Emergency blood transfusion was conducted (4 full bags of blood given quickly with 2000ml saline, and 900ml IV Iron) and many, many more tests, biopsies, procedures, surgeries and such were conducted to find the cause.

After 4 days, no eating, only IVs and tests - they released her from hospital. She went straight back to work. There were medical tests and such over the course of several more months.

The best the could tell her was she was severely anemic now and would require iron supplements for the rest of her life. They also told her that due to the transfusion, she would have heart palpitations, and rapid heart beat so she must not do anything to raise her heart rate. It could heal in several weeks, months or years or may never heal but either way, until it does, she cannot raise her heart rate.

They found a tumor at one point and told her that she would require chemo and radiation if it was cancerous. She agreed to have it removed but told them she was refusing ALL treatments beyond surgery to remove it. From the time she was told she had the tumor, to the day of her surgery, she refused all medical treatments for it. On the surgery, there was no tumor! That's right. You read it right. The tumor was gone when they went in to get it.

After dealing with the uncertainty, loneliness, trauma, and physical recovery, our reiki master turned to what she knew best - Herbs. Diet. And energy healing.

This worked for her but it is still on going so this is all long term changes.

* Drank 1 to 2 ounces of wheat grass juice every day; in the morning with empty stomach.

* Drank 16 ounces of celery juice every day (Freshly juiced - only celery)

* Hot water with lemon (no sugar or honey in it. First thing before wheat grass)

* Meditated for 15 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the evening focused on increasing hemoglobin and ferritin levels

* Reiki every evening - 30 minutes before bed focused on healing and well being.

* Emotional work which could have impacted the ailment

* Tapping (eft and tft) processes

* 45 minutes in nature daily - even in winter and minimum 3 times a week if not daily

Due to personal reasons, she does not feel comfortable to share all the details here but she does have a script for tapping, a guided meditation, essential oils blends, and reiki steps to help with the blood issues. She also has a specific set of recipes and herbs she uses to assist with the blood troubles. She uses them to assist clients with the same issues. We will keep trying to get some of the recipes to help you all but maybe if you're interested, you could reach her with your questions via facebook or instagram!
